    • Shut down your water supply, before the filter
    • Unscrew the previous cartridge, and throw it away
    • Unscrew the flow meter from the output of the cartridge head
    • Screw back a flexible hose and stick the end in a sink/bucket. If you don't have a free one, you always can unscrew one from further on the water line, such as the hose between the machine's pump and the flowmeter.
    • Screw the new cartridge. It is a good time to use a permanent marker, and write up the date of the day, right on the cartridge.
    • open-up the water path, water will now flow through the cartridge to the recipient. Notice how white and ugly the water is. Well, you do not want this to enter your coffee machine, right? Me neither. So, purge this water for a good 20L, just to make sure. At least, wait for the water to be transparent and clean.
    • shut down the water line again, screw back the hoses, flowmeter.
    • if you trust your tech guy by setting up your flowmeter, or he told you to do so, press ● reset for 3s ⇢ "Reset" will blink on screen. Just in case you have any doubt, please give a call to him.
    • Open-up the water line.
    • Have a look to the head of the cartridge, they are 4 numbers (0, 1, 2, 3), write with the permanent marker the number shown by the arrow, next to the date. (You should not have to change this setting unless you know what you are doing)
  • want to know how much water you are going through monthly as this is pretty important?
    • press ● prog until the screen change and show a weird text : "L522 t 6.4", "L 2349 t 15.2", ... Also, a small number "1" is given, at the top of the screen.
    • press ● reset once ⇢ the number at the top might change. This number can change up to 5 by pressing ● reset until coming back to the number 1. In any case, this is the 1st screen we are interested in.
